Paul Mizen - Managing Director

Paul started his training as a Saturday boy working for Peaches of Essex and has spent the last 15 years supplying Hotels, Restaurants, Nursing Homes, Contract Catering companies, NSFS & the NHS.

One of Paul’s main motivations for setting up E-foods was his understanding of the needs within the food service industry to improve on IT.  Paul’s vast experience gained through supplying nationally has proved invaluable, helping to understand concerns that have arisen time and time again over the years, the inability of existing IT to standardise pricing, the lack of accessible information and the need for better systems.

Paul through e-foods has provided a successful remedy to these problems.  All current customers benefit from the e-foods system, no overcharging, information on time, direct inputting of invoices, and a system and company that is committed to continual development to suit the needs and demands of the ever changing food industry.

Paul is an extremely keen golfer, he also follows West Ham football team who is describes as a ‘rollercoaster team’.

Steve McFall - Operations Manager 

Steve has always worked in fresh produce since the young age of 12!  Steve the ‘early bird’ was responsible for setting up the shop or the flash as it was known in the trade.  Steve has progressed from working in supermarkets where he was responsible for purchasing and importing on Manchester wholesale market, to the present as Operations Manager for E-foods.

Steve still spends time now to his partners bemusement stood outside greengrocer’s shops or on the produce section in the supermarket.

At e-foods, Steve is responsible for managing the sales team, the customer services team and the Operations team.  Steve’s main objective is to keep all our customers and suppliers happy.  Steve is also is responsible for rolling out of new customers and also sourcing new suppliers.  Steve’s extensive market knowledge has also proved invaluable to our Purchasing Manager, as he assists with the monthly pricing and seasonal offers, much to Janine’s delight.

Apart from work, Steve’s main interests are golf and Manchester City.  Steve’s nickname on the golf course is Billy.  Steve has proven to be a valuable member of the e-foods team.

Madi Jamieson - Office Manager 

Madi has been part of the E-foods team since Feb 2005 and in that time has seen the business grows and flourish to the successful operation that it is today.  Having started as an admin temp, Madi very quickly worked her way to Office Manager.

Madi spends most of her time developing & supporting the IT department, customer services, and performing the HR function for the company as well as overseeing the running of the office. Having studied for a Management qualification whilst with E-foods, Madi has developed and grown with the company to become an experienced and effective Office Manager, having recruited & trained the majority of our existing team.  Madi enjoys working in an ever changing environment and enjoys the new challenges everyday brings.  Madi is the type of person that goes the extra mile in all aspects of her work.

Madi loves travelling and aims to see as much of the world as possible, she hates DIY; she refers to it as a necessary evil.  In her spare time Madi enjoys socialising with friends and family, gardening – it’s all about the ‘good life’, and shopping.

Lisa Boland -  Customer Services Manager

Lisa joined e-foods as an admin temp in March 2005 and since then she has progressed with the company to her current role as the company’s Customer Services Manager.

Working alongside Steve McFall, E-foods Operations Manager, Lisa is responsible for ensuring that all customer issues are dealt with quickly and efficiently, arranging supplies for new and existing customers, taking in house orders, liaising with suppliers to introduce new product ranges.  Lisa is committed to providing excellent customer service and therefore is the main contact for a number of key customers.  Lisa is the e-foods resident ‘foodie’ and her passion for cooking has proven valuable when researching & introducing new lines to our discerning customers.

In her spare time Lisa is a keen cook, she’s a real social butterfly and loves socialising with friends in Manchester’s bars & clubs.  A self confessed animal lover, she loves to spend time with her partner and beloved Cleo (Shih-Tzu) travelling the length and breadth of the country. Lisa also enjoys the gym and foreign travel.

Janine Ingram - Purchasing Manager

Janine started working for E-foods as an admin temp in July 2006, through hard work; Janine has developed along with the company and now holds the position of Purchasing Manager. 

Janine over the past three years has been working with suppliers to develop the e-foods product files and during this time she has developed a natural flair for purchasing and an excellent relationship with suppliers and customer alike.  Working closely with Paul and Steve, Janine is responsible for price setting for our customers, liaising with suppliers to ensure the best price and finest products as well as preparing our monthly newsletter and seasonal promotions. 

Outside of work Janine loves to spend time with her niece Mia and sidekicks Upsy Daisy & Iggle piggle but when she’s not in the night garden Janine loves socialising with friends!

Emma Evans - Accounts Manager 

After joining e-foods as a part time temp in October 2005, we soon realised that Emma was perfectly suited to a more challenging role, she was quickly established in to the role of Accounts Manager in Feb 2006  full time.

Emma started her accounts career when she joined an ophthalmic coating firm when she was 20 years old as an account assistant, Emma assisted in the running of the purchase and sales ledger department, skills which she further developed by attending college.  Emma originally worked the accounts single handed; as the business has grown she is now managing a team of 3.  Emma has successfully moulded an efficient accounts team and has developed excellent relationships with both customers and suppliers.

Emma is a busy mum of two, in her spare time can be found shopping and socialising with friends or on the odd occasion choreographing dance routines with daughter Ellie, this boom boom pow yummy mummy is also the resident fashion guru.  Emma also enjoys music and going to the gym.

Caroline Ingram, Key Account Controller 

Caroline joined the e-foods team in July 2006 after working in the Motor Auction industry for 9 years.  In this time she worked her way up to be office/Accounts Manager overseeing all aspects of the business.

Caroline’s vast experience and customer service skills have made her well suited to manage e-foods largest customers, independently Caroline oversees the accounts for in excess of 800 plus sites.  Caroline is a woman on an ongoing mission to ensure that the accounts are fully up to date which they usually are (testimony to Caroline’s hard work).  Caroline has developed excellent relationships with customers and suppliers and is an essential part of the accounts team.

Caroline works hard and plays hard........!! Very rarely will Caroline be seen relaxing; she is an un-stoppable force with a plan and a purpose.  This Lady could feasibly take over the world.   In her spare time Caroline enjoys socialising and is a keen gym member.

Linda Hope  -  Accounts Assistant

Linda joined the e-foods team at the start of February 2007 as a temp and was quickly snapped up by the ever growing accounts team.  With previous experience within both sales and purchase ledger departments, Linda has gained a wealth of experience which she brought to her role at e-foods. 

Linda mainly helps maintain the administrative side of the accounts department both sales and purchase ledger, she has an excellent organisational skills and is multi-skilled having worked with all departments at one time or another.  Working closely within a team of 4 she is responsible for customer queries and reconciling accounts.  Linda is an administrative ‘rock’, always there to support other departments, an integral part of the e-foods team.

In her spare time Linda enjoys socialising with friends, clubbing and going to gigs.  This ‘now’ ginger goddess is a self confessed adrenalin junkie thinking nothing of throwing herself out of planes, and other crazy extreme sports, when she’s not defying gravity; Linda enjoys country walks with her trusty companion Ferris.

David Mellor, Marketing Administrator

Dave joined the e-foods team in May 2006. At the young age of 16 Dave started his working career in the engineering industry where he was a transport operative.  He has also worked as a warehouse manager for one of the UK’s biggest independent therapeutic music producers.  David work experience has been extremely varied and he has brought with him a wealth of skills.

Dave works closely with Steve and Lisa in the rollout of new customers, Dave is responsible for the preparation and distribution of the e-foods marketing materials such as the e-foods manual and presentations and customer welcome packs. Dave has a hands on approach to work and can always be relied upon to muck in when needed. 

Dave is the only member of the team who not only remembers the busby babes but watched them in their pomp & glory.  In his younger days Dave enjoyed hiking, abseiling, pot holing, parachute jumping, playing football and cricket.  Dave is a dedicated gym member and puts the rest of the office to shame, but luckily he does have one flaw, he is a dedicated Man United fan.

Stu Smith, IT Manager

A newcomer to the e-foods team, Stu joined the E-foods team in January 2009, did four days then went snowboarding for a week!! He is a local lad who has worked in the IT field for the last 6 years within the construction industry.  Having studied Business studies, Stu has a wealth of knowledge about business practices as well as being an IT guru. 

Working as IT Manager, Stu is responsible for the maintenance and development of the e-foods online system, as well as training & supporting customers and suppliers.  Stu also maintains e-foods in house computers, software and hardware.   Stu the ‘master of Power Point' has inadvertently become responsible for all marketing documents!!! There is a lot to be said about hiding your light under a bush.

Stu is a self confessed ‘geek’ who loves gadgets and boys toys! When he isn’t working he can usually be found breaking bones/snowboarding, messing with fast cars, playing Call of Duty or sat in front of his home entertainment system. Stu would love to live long enough to see Man City win a trophy.....any trophy.

James Green, Senior National Sales Manager

James joined e-foods in Sept 2007.  James left school at 16 and joined the army, he served in Hong Kong, Cyprus & Northern Ireland with the 3^rd RHA.  James received a GSM for services in Northern Ireland.  James left the army after 8 years to become a body guard for pop stars including Shirley Bassey, the kids from fame, U2, Cliff Richard & many more.

Married to Julie for 20 years, they now have 2 children, Charlotte & Harry.  Looking for a quieter life, James moved on to Smithfield Market where he developed an interest in cheese, he began travelling to France once a month, bringing back various speciality cheese for hotels and restaurants in and around the North West.

Having worked for 20 years in sales within the food service, James has gained a reputation as a first class sales man and is held in high regard by past and present customers.

Nathan Jennings, National Accounts Manager

Nathan joined the e-foods team in March 2008.  Nathan started in the food service industry at the young age of 13.  His career started on Smithfield Market where he worked as a Saturday boy for Wilson’s catering.  Nathan worked with Wilsons for a number of years after he left school but then progressed to a new wholesale business on the market, PL European.

Nathan joined PL European as a night porter but after a few months he quickly progressed to a sales position with the company.  Nathan gained great experience and wished to advance his career in sales; he then joined the e-foods team and has not looked back since.

Challenged with the responsibility of face to face customer care, Nathan has grown in confidence and ability and loves the everyday challenges that Customer Services has to offer.  Nathan is also responsible for training customers and suppliers on the e-foods online system.  Nathan has become an important member of the customer services/Operations department.

In his spare time Nathan regularly visits the gym (to pump up his muscles) which he enjoys demonstrating in the office ...He is an avid Manchester United season ticket holder.... and never misses a match which quite often means he’s jet setting to foreign lands. Nathan is a real socialite and loves going out with friends at the weekend, a womaniser, Nathan is always on the lookout for the lady of his dreams.

 Debbie Parker, Credit Controller

Deborah joined the e-foods team at the end of September 08.  After leaving college where she studied business and finance, Debbie went straight into work in the finance environment and has over 15 years experience in credit control and sales ledger, 7 of which were spent working for a multi national oil company as part of their collections team.

Deborah is now the fourth member of the ever growing accounts department who’s experience will be put to great use in the ever changing economic climate, her duties include working closely with the Accounts Manager to ensure the effective maintenance and running of accounts, liaising with customers, dealing with queries and general administrative duties.

In her spare time Deborah enjoys going to the gym, gardening (weather permitting of course) and most of all she loves to Shop and is a self confessed Shopaholic (to the point of it being a problem) well at least she recognises it but most of all she loves spending time with her daughter (potential shopaholic in the making).

 Becky Susca, Telesales and Customer Services Administrator 

Becky joined the e-foods team in November 2008.   Becky worked for Scorch Media for 9 years as a Team Leader, where she was responsible for supervising the telesales and customer service teams as well as overseeing all aspects of the business.  Becky brought with her a wealth of experience and enthusiasm which meant she settled in to her role with ease, Becky is ideally suited for her current position of e-foods having a friendly & helpful personality, and nothing is too much trouble for our Becks.

Working closely alongside Lisa, Becky is responsible for manning our busy telesales department, taking orders, placing them on our system and ensuring invoices are sent on time. Becky is our customer’s first point of contact and has developed an excellent rapport with both customers and suppliers. Becky is an integral and much valued member of our Customer Services Team.

In her spare time Becky enjoys socialising with friends, going to the gym, and of course shopping.  Becky is a devoted groupie to her partner’s band and spends many weekends going to gigs.   A lover of the finer things in life, Becky loves nothing more than chilling with friends with a cold glass of wine, putting the worlds to rights.

 Steve Walker, National Sales Manager

 Steve joined the e-foods team in August 2009.  Steve has worked in the food service industry since the young age of 16, starting his career working on a local dairy farm.  Steve, a man with an obviously flair for sales, quickly progressed from telesales for a national catering butcher to Regional Sales Executive.    After a number of years, Steve saw an opportunity to progress even further with his career and joined a family run business, Browns of Rugby.  Steve made the decision to join e-foods in Aug 08 as he could see the industry changing direction with greater emphasis being placed on local supply, and he had a passion to be part of it.

Steve loves meeting chefs and buyers and being able to offer a service they want rather than a product that can be duplicated by many.  Steve dislikes paperwork and admin and is much more at home out and about meeting new people.

In his spare time Steve enjoys travelling the UK, caravan in tow, and can be seen most weekends blocking the British motorway system (argh).  A dedicated football fan specifically Manchester United, he watches practically every match.  Steve is an animal lover and breeds cocker spaniels.....aah.
