E-Foods are now sponsoring Fairfield Material Management

Sponsorship

Francis House Children’s Hospital

We are delighted to support Francis House Children’s Hospital this year as our chosen charity. All the E-Foods team will be getting involved in some way including street collections and sponsored activities. Linda, from our accounts department has offered to do a parachute jump, a tremendous and brave offer as Linda is afraid of heights!

Lisa, our development manager, is doing a sponsored swim and we have introduced a ‘dress down Friday’ with money raised this way to be doubled by E-Foods at the end of the year.

We are hoping to raise as much money as possible throughout the year and will greatly appreciate any help we receive in doing so.

Francis House is a wonderful opportunity to support a worthy charity that cares for sick children and provides support for families and carers in their own homes.

Kids-Safe

We are delighted to have recently sponsored a fantastic cause within our local community.

Kids-Safe is actively committed to informing and educating children of the issues that may affect them, including road safety, drug awareness and stranger danger.

By sponsoring Kids-Safe we are delighted to have provided local children with a game pack that makes them more aware of the dangers they face without destroying their sense of adventure and making learning fun.

You can visit www.kid-safe.net to see how you can become a part of their supporters club.

Fairfield Material Management

We are all aware of the impact waste has on our environment, and working within the food service industry we have an obligation to protect our environment and future generations.

Having looked at a number of local projects to sponsor, Paul Mizen, managing director, decided that Fairfield Materials Management (FMM) was an ideal project for E-Foods to sponsor and promote. It is a social not-for profit enterprise.

FMM, based in Manchester, is the first organisation in the UK to install a composting system within a wholesale market. And since starting in 2003 they have converted over 2,500 tonnes of waste into 1,000 tonnes of high quality rich compost.

If you would like to visit the FMM site please contact us and we will be happy to arrange a visit for you.
