Local Suppliers

Wilson Catering, Manchester

Wilson Catering is a family run business with over 30 years experience, operating centrally on the New Smithfield Market in Manchester, which enables them to procure fresh produce from both importers and local growers, ensuring the freshness that we demand.
Wilsons pride themselves on sourcing top quality products locally notably Cheshire potatoes. These are bought from Edward Houghton at Weaver View Farm in Knutsford, the quality is acclaimed and attributed to the soil in the Cheshire countryside.
And Wilson’s supplies a lot of Lancashire cheese, produced by the Rhodes family at Park Head Farms, using milk from their dairy herd that happily grazes on 450 acres of land.

Neil Frost Meats, Manchester

Neil Frost is a supplier of top quality British meats.

Pork – Neil uses only Otterburn pork and dry cures the bacon himself. He specialises in producing handmade sausages in a range of varieties and only using pigs with an average fat covering.

Beef – All beef products are sourced locally from cattle reared on farms around the Macclesfield area. The cattle graze on the grass of the luscious Cheshire countryside producing superior tasting beef. And all the beef is matured on the bone prior to trimming, to produce the tastiest cuts.

Lamb – Lambs are sourced from Deemster House Farm in Wirswall. They are slowly grown on the farm and fed on a natural diet of grass without using feed concentrates. The farm supplies its lambs exclusively to Neil Frost, which enables Neil to supply top quality lamb virtually all year round.

Poultry - Situated in Knutsford, Bailey’s Farm has been producing high quality poultry since 1965. The birds are fed on a natural diet of cereals giving the meat an exceptional taste and tenderness.

Clements Premier Produce, Lincolnshire

Jason Clement bought the greengrocers business that he worked in as a schoolboy at the age of 20. He quickly grew the business and is now operating out of a warehouse and supplying the wholesale market with the same quality that he gives to his retail customers. Living in a rural farming community, Jason has always been passionate about supporting local produce and quickly became known as a supplier of fresh locally grown vegetables.
Jason buys cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli and onions from Peter Burrell’s farm in Spalding on a daily basis to ensure outstanding flavour and freshness.

The Cheetham Family

The Cheetham family have been farming at Haughton Park farm since 1923. In the mid-eighties Thelma Cheetham started making her wonderful ice cream, using only natural ingredients and milk from the family’s herd of pedigree Friesians.

Fresh milk and double cream, straight from the neighbouring dairy, is pasteurised, cooled and refrigerated with other good ingredients such as unrefined cane sugar to produce the basic ice cream mixture. As the mixture is frozen natural flavourings are added: local honey and local fruits, Belgian chocolate chunks, clotted cream fudge, hazelnuts and liqueurs to name but a few.

Established for 15 years, the secret of the success of Cheetham’s Ice Cream is simple – people just keep coming back for more.
