E-Foods has a robust CSR policy that is reflected in all our working practices. We believe that assessing the economic, social and environmental impact of the way we work will benefit our team, our customers and our suppliers, as well as meeting our commitment to continually reduce our carbon footprint. 

Employees

We are proud to have developed a working culture that recognises the needs of every member of our staff, while allowing us to continually improve our service to customers.
We operate a flexible working pattern to give each member of our team support in finding their work life balance.
We have absolute belief in the ability of our people, and give individuals appropriate levels of empowerment. By doing this we benefit from each person’s skill and experience while encouraging them to be the best that they possibly can.
And we offer benefits such as free eye tests and gym membership to all staff.

Customers

Our tailored ordering and accounting system helps you to meet your own green obligations, by reducing the amount of paperwork in your office.
By using local suppliers we minimise food miles and reduce the carbon footprint of all our stakeholders.

Suppliers

E-Foods works with only accredited local suppliers and we believe that our food miles policy benefits not only the environment, but our customers and suppliers alike. We aim to have at least two suppliers within a 30 mile radius of each site that we supply, and are committed to maintaining our support for local farms and businesses.

Waste Management

E-Foods strives to lessen the amount of waste produced through its operation, and so all waste paperwork is shredded and recycled. Office consumables are recycled locally.

All our suppliers enter orders through our electronic ordering system, and we encourage our clients to reduce their own levels of paperwork by using our online application.

E-Foods supports and sponsors the pioneering Fairfield Material Management, recyclers of food and green waste.

Community

E-Foods sponsors a number of local charities and we actively encourage our management and staff to take part in fund raising activities.
